Step 1
Download your preferred VPN location on this page: https://help.privatevpn.com/en/articles/302386-openvpn-configuration-files-tcp-443
for this guide, we will select a Sweden-based server.
Step 2
Login to your Asus router (http://router.asus.com/). Proceed to Advanced Settings and then click VPN.
Step 3
Click VPN Client at the top tabs and then click on Add Profile.
Step 4
Choose OpenVPN at the top tabs and then enter the following settings:
Description: (any name would do)
Username (option): (your PrivateVPN registered email address)
Password (option): (your password)
Click Choose File button.
Step 5
Select the configuration file that you have downloaded and then click Upload (Open).
Step 6
Click Upload and then click OK.
Step 7
Click Activate to connect.
