Step 1
Open PrivateVPN app then click on Advanced View.
Step 2
Proceed to Connection Guard menu and ensure IPv6 Leak Protection and VPN Killswitch are enabled.
Step 3
Go back to Dashboard menu.
You may click Change to select a different VPN location.
*for this guide we will use a Sweden-based server.
Click Connect Now button to start connection process.
Step 4
Once connected to the VPN, take note of the assigned port.
Additional Note: The port may change when reconnecting to the VPN.
Step 5
Proceed to Transmission client Settings... menu.
Step 6
Go to Network tab and then enter the port provided by PrivateVPN app.
Setup Success!
Restart Transmission client and then proceed to download.
