for this guide, we will select a Sweden-based server.

Download and install the latest version of OpenVPN GUI for Windows:

Windows 32-bit: https://build.openvpn.net/downloads/releases/latest/openvpn-latest-stable-x86.msi

Right-click OpenVPN GUI icon at the system tray. Then select Import > Import file…

Select the configuration file that you have downloaded and then click Open.

Right-click OpenVPN GUI icon and then choose Connect.

Enter the following settings:

​Username: (your PrivateVPN registered email address)

​Password: (your password)

Tick Save Password.

Click OK.
