Step 1
Download the configuration file of your preferred location using this link: https://help.privatevpn.com/en/articles/302433-openvpn-configuration-files-udp-1194
for this guide, we will select a Sweden-based server.
Step 2
Proceed to Viscosity Client Settings and then click the + button > Import Connection > From File…

Select the configuration file that you have downloaded and then click Open.
Step 4
Click OK to proceed.
Step 5
Click the Viscosity icon at the menu bar and then select the VPN profile.
Step 6
Enter the following settings:
Username: (your PrivateVPN registered email address)
Password: (your password)
Click OK.
Connection Success!
