Step 1
Download the configuration file of your preferred location using this link: https://help.privatevpn.com/en/articles/302433-openvpn-configuration-files-udp-1194
for this guide, we will select a Sweden-based server.
Step 2
Download and install the latest stable version of the Tunnelblick client here: https://tunnelblick.net/downloads.html
Step 3
Click I have configuration files.
Step 4
Click OK.
Step 5
In Finder, locate the configuration file that you downloaded and double-click on it.
This will import the VPN profile to Tunnelblick.
Step 6
Click the Tunnelblick icon at the menu bar and then select the VPN profile.
Step 7
Enter the following settings:
Username: (your PrivateVPN registered email address)
Password: (your password)
Click OK.
Connection Success!
